Isabel's Eye Tonight I summon watchful eye of hurricane In supplication that you safe from harm remain That she might hold you safely in her sheltered keep And cradle you securely while you peaceful sleep With head in humble bow, I do implore her this That she may touch you only with refreshing kiss I pray she hear my plea this night in silent prayer And hold you warm and dry encompassed in her care This I implore to Mother of all Nature grand In pray she grant you refuge in her gentle hand May eye of storm console you with a winking glance And leave you fresh, invigorated by the dance This be my off'ring, in sincerest prayer, my friend That you be granted rainbow at the tempest's end ~Vicky L. Consider the prayer circle expanding, m'dear...for all of us know someone on the East Coast, and if not someone now, then most certainly, someone once, who came from that area toward the inland of the USA... But those that heeded the news...have hurried towards safety... |

(sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is a most beautiful prayer for everyone along the coast, thank God it diminished from a Class Five to a Class Two so so many people will be protected from the winds and rain, as I continue to pray for those closest to the waters! (big hugggssssssss) This is wonderfully heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Vicky, thank you for sharing! Thanx Vicky, being 300 miles south of where the storm hit gives me great relief for myself, but for those there, I pray for them. For I endured Hurricane Hugo back in 1989....The devastation was something that left you speechless.... Homes can be rebuilt, trees can be planted. Precious lives cannot be replaced. My heart is with all of them this day. |
