Perhaps love is like a distant star and I am lifted up to reach, to touch, and celebrate the advent of desire and then withdraw within the restlessness of need to sleep forever distant from the core of who I am. Perhaps love can be a comforter natural and warm and the giver of a nesting place in the tree of life and then immobilized is my body muscle, bone, unable to climb to the height of true delight. Perhaps love is like a rainbow in harmony with you, beautiful to see in the morning, noon, twilight, and then at night to herald in dreams and fantasy destined to overthrow a cool and calm reserve. Perhaps to love a sip of wine from the glass of time unmoved and unaided by a weak and fragile hand and then to suffer thirst, to hunger, long, and pine, intended to destroy all deadly ego vines. Perhaps of love who can know its deep intensity when surface are the roads in highways of the mind? Helen |

'love is a rainbow in harmony with you'- just one of the beautiful lines here. Tender and passionate and honest. Well done! ~ becky |

Perhaps love is the Alpha, the Omega, the Morning and the Evening Star and everything between... I missed this when you posted it. Helen, as always, your insights fill my soul and take me places I can not reach on my own. Thank you! |
