Hurricane Waves crashing upon the unseen killer reef. Waiting silently for the unsuspecting ships of the sea. The sea, black as night crashes over the tiny captured ship. The wind reaches out, tossing this helpless ship, for it is at the mercy of the hurricane. Hot white lighting streaks across the sky. I will take you to the bottom sea, the ocean roars, a watery grave I will make for thee. The men frightened, but still they fight, the angry sea and the hurricane. The man at the wheel trying desperately to guide this tiny ship to the beacon in the night, leading these tired men of the sea home and to a safe harbor. Ahead in the distance the high powered lamps of the night send out its life giving glow of light. Warning these frightened men of the killer reefs. A war with man and the sea and the mighty hurricane. A sudden calm- The mens muscles taunt, pushing, pulling straining, fighting for their lives. Fighting to the safety of land and a safe harbor. Once again the sea has lost this tiny ship to the safety of land. Another time the hurricane doth say, another time. |
