Inward nature, consigns an infernal circle
Significant things translated
To friendliness dreaming about songs
Past preserved memories, this may carry one soul
If only one…then incomprehensible
With volumes of colors and beautiful things
Burning as thoughts…desires, so close in their lives
But, what purifies their desires…opens clear strong currents?
The passion and affirmation…prayers and meditations
For a sister or a brother…and not only a lover
But a broader sense of love, going deep within the spirit
And there paves golden cobblestones
Of a new epoch, objectives, and universal beauty
Unveiling reality…the arrival of the divine among man
What is then, the everyday flow of time?
Where it enters into one privileged moment
One significant rhyme, living and alive
One very precise essential moment, within a human being
Imposing a certain form in mind and memory
Ephemeral appears, within the spiritual kind
Everywhere waiting for perception to grasp
Holding onto that splash of space…like a visitor spreading light
Where we drift together hand in hand, not thinking of gain
Simply being and acceptance
That most essential reality hidden in ever person and thing
Occupies an important place, within the flow of weaving motifs
Of everyday time, discernment smiles from a voice inside
I exist, in books, magazines, within the observing minds
Misfortune touches my flesh, and strengthens the immigration
Where a lighted house and a kerosene lamp
Unfolds the flame of compassion
Nature is perfect, functional and deserving
Or can be…but then…perhaps we cannot do much
Without, personifying? Mythological transformations
Of the splashes of stones, or maybe even phenomena?
Bringing along a fluted stream with a large face smiling
God bless his luminations, thoughts and ideas...mankind...Epiphany!

You say these things so well....

In your photo there's a hand resting on your shoulder. I have a feeling there's a much larger one there, most all the time.

In a most positive sense, your poetry is like a combination of Philosopy-101, An Introduction To Metaphysics, and The Basics Of Spirituality...  I can always count on a yummy mind-ful to keep me contemplating for quite a while when I read your work.

I skipped this read yesterday, knowing it would deserve more than a cursory glance, and I had very little PC time. I'm glad I didn't miss this wonderful read, Lee. You never fail to stir up the grey matter and strengthen the heartbeat. A keeper, to read again.
