And such a call leaves echoes of heartbreak... in both the one who heeds the call... and the one left behind in silence.

This has too many overtones of sadness to wear the term 'beautiful' well... but it is excellent.

(big hugggsssssss) Silence can be so deafening, sweet friend, my heart goes out to all who have to face these emotionless caesuras in conversation and left worried and achin! I can see the relationships within relationships, each touching each other like magic rings, part of, yet not. A sadness in this...but very real.

James, I wonder if I'm reading
this different than the others?? It seems to me
that you are talking of someone passing
away when God calls. Am I right? If not, I still
read it that way. And, though sad, it is a
beautifully written rictameter.
