Ingrained

the ocean dried
on a Monday
read its sad story
in the swirl of sand
the birds and I
were both confused
with what was left
and on the desert
floor that we
once called shore
we gently flew away

the ocean dried up, what a thought - this is lovely, nature can be unpredictable, and it can sure confuse not only us but the smaller creatures that depend on it.

I enjoy the way you think, Helen.  Very cool.

(big hugggsssssss) Sadly our ecosystems are changing ever too fast and it will only hurt species and environments with unpredictable adaptation! (sad sigh) We must stop the greenhouse effect and protect the righteous homes, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
