or if it will come around
No, we know not what tomorrow brings
or if hard luck will be found

We know not if the sun will shine
and bring happiness to our heart
Or if the storms of life will come
and cause deep sadness to start

We know not if tomorrow comes
if in this life we make a new mistake
Or if we'll make it through the day
when if the sun shall break

We know not if when we lay down to sleep
if the next breath we will take
Or when our loved ones go out the door
if we'll hear again the footsteps they make

We know not if the last word we say
to loved ones will be the last
So let us say kind words and I love yous
so we won't regret what came to pass

Then if our loved ones we do not see
or hear again their sweet words sing
Let us make the most of each moment we have
for we know not what tomorrow brings

(smiles) If we live life as if it was the last day each day, we will always be able to appreciate life and our loved ones ever so much and then our family, friends, and lovers and ourselves will always feel happy! I just loved this...I think it echoes what we all feel inside, because I think all of us want to have that feeling they didn't leave things on a bad note. In some instances there are those that won't let that happen..then you can't be respondsible for their actions. It's not how we want it, but with some it happens that way. Lovely as always!!! Life-giving words, because they are truth.
