Thought seems to grow flesh
Expectations disappeared
Our names glanced into the night
Where voices told us everything
We were budding by a river’s buffet
Which turned everything to dawn
Where sound glows of distant lands and fat ponds
We, short of breath settled into the quiet
Savoring milk and honey,
Full of moments free, awaiting wings
Cold winds turned Africa hot with passions reacting
Where we took in young air and global extremities
Leaving eternal mists, echoing rhythms
Twilight came, nestling down on blessed time
We embraced the images of both our minds
Delving deep into the earth’s veins
We smoothed all edges right into the now
Millennia became our mouths, of sea and shores
Stepping right into the focus of God’s reactor
Waiting for us with out-stretched arms
The glow of white charged with electrical lunar moons
We lit the chapel walls, painting colors of dawn
Rising into the stare of an oceanic contour
Where mankind migrates as true lovers and sheds
The umbilical chords of descent, where the gravity of
Horizons stride along side of us
