Whining in helium falsetto where are you girl? I'm coming to get you you should not be out in the streets this late or this early... the winds grow stronger here tonight, children hold their mother’s hands you’ll hate her one day, even for only five seconds but it’s still there instinct I have every reason to shudder and shiver I see the flagpole, yesterday it was halfway strung and chains rattling I know where you live I know where you sleep personification, you want me to give life to the storm? I wonder if lightning were to strike the metal shaft would it strike me too? I think it might be too late it's so ironic that I could die tomorrow then come home to my family and say "the bad news is I died today… The good news? now I'm a hero" pity for the chaos effect- sorry America, guess I’m not much of a patriot. And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots!" -Tool [This message has been edited by Wind (09-13-2003 10:51 PM).] |

As you so often do...you have struck me with a courage that far outshines your years... Felt the sway in the flag as it rippled the winds of uncertainty. Always be true to yourself. TD |

No one would mistake you for a conformist. lol You march to the beat of your own drum--and the music is loud and clear! Lovin' hugs, EA |

Liz, oooh an old soul you are . . . this is just amazing it's so ironic that I could die tomorrow then come home to my family and say "the bad news is I died today… The good news? now I'm a hero" I adore your writing and yes, you certainly march to your own beat a good thing xxoo |

If I grow up, can I write like you? Amazing. Had to shake my head at this one kiddo. Your thoughts both intrigue and inspire me. |

Bumping this... liz, yer muse is on top form lately. I have every reason to shudder and shiver I see the flagpole, yesterday it was halfway strung and chains rattling I know where you live I know where you sleep personification, you want me to give life to the storm? Just love these lines. you scared me whilst i read, i could hear the chains. As for supporting ones country? I support only my own world in my head..it's madness out there!!! Instant karma's gonna get you. |

Excellent piece Wind. I love the imagery you put down before my eyes. I wish I had half your talent. Keep them coming...I enjoy reading them ever so much. |

blind patriotism..is like blind religion... leads to fantics, who are close minded to the chance that there is more to being said and extolled than you would be had to believe... |
