Hello everyone,

Well,  I'm new, as you've probably guessed.  And I hope that, although I'm beginning to write once more after a long period of time, you all enjoy my peices.  And hope that I can give some good feedback as well.  Here's my first submission...

~The Sun & The Moon~

Mourn
So struck
By an alarm

The sun has risen
And is now gone
From my heart
Set in stone
Darkness, now bidden
Love,
Never more

Mourn
Loss of all sight
Creating despair instead of might

The moon has fallen
Dead and waned
Never to be risen
Never again to be set
For full hearts
Fall empty
In the crowded space
A sky
So full of stars
So full of lies

Mourn
This passing of my faith

Whilst sun is faded
And moon
Now dead
There truly are no more tears,
Left to be shed
For we all must pass
Wax and wane beyond our paths
Removing and replacing our ever facadical masks

Mourn
The sun
The moon
Our time has past...

(big hugggsssssss) This is a sad but beautiful debut, sweet friend, I send angel hugs your way, and know that the sun will rise again and Lady Luna will never abandon her ballet lessons as she continues to spin through her cycles, all will be forgiven and amended! (smiles) Wow, there's a New Denver, I must be getting old, I dream of seeing more of B.C so much, yay! Welcome to Passions, sweet Joel, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! I can't wait to read more of your illuminating poetry, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Wow...I hadn't expected so many reply's.  But, thank you all very much for the very warm welcome, tiss truly appreciated. Again, thank you all, I look forward to reading all of your entries and posting more of my own.

           - The Sublime (aka Joel)

P.S.  Hugs back to all sent.
P.S.S.  At the time I had written the poem, moments before I posted, I had forgotten that, morn and mourn, where near the same appearance, thank you Lady for pointing that out, I think at the time the best meaning is mourn.  Thanks again.
