Why do I look upon my appearence As another reason to doubt my life Who cares if I look like this Do I have to look like that To listen to this music To wear these clothes To pick these hobbies To contradict or agree Or to even merely think about these So introspection will soon reveal Like to me it revealed much I don't care about the physical Of myself or anyone else If I could transcend my own body Would I choose to or not The question is quite hard to choose But the benefits are sellouts would be bereft Just live up to what you want And don't sell out to yourself Uniquely picking your ambitions Is a base core of life [This message has been edited by symphony_of_thoughts (09-13-2003 01:22 PM).] |

To live up to what we want is a great goal! Beyond appearances, lies truth. It is all right not to be influenced by all the trends, this does not exclude to care lovingly for our physical selves. just BE... who or what YOU wish to Be, don't be concerned with the view from me, remember even that personal self-image, personal goals, change with time, experience, the bumps and bruises as well as all the seconds filled with love and life |
