The woman holds a letter close to her heart; With pages faded, tattered and torn. Tears in her eyes she remembered his words; His words of love and promises. Promises of love forever, and for richer or poorer. So many years together, along with many heartaches But they always managed to survive. Today she said ‘I do’ as she remarried the man who So long ago chose her to be his bride. |
