Sighs.. In many instances, I wondered why should it be this way? why shall we lose in the first place in order to "value" love? Why would wisdome require such a "price" I couldnt find answers for such questions? Sir, What You have presented here is a "Virtual" script of life. Thanks a lot Iyad "Hallow the body as a temple to comeliness and sanctify the heart as a sacrifice to love; love recompenses the adorers." |

Hi, and good morning...how are ya...hope all is well.... My thoughts are...that we never lose love, no matter the distance...we once shared some very intimate moments (and I don't mean the physical) but those very special times, when we shared our hearts, in communications, joys, laughter, jokes, tears...allowing our guard to be down, and believing again...in something very pertinant and significant to our growth....and when two people slit, there will always be a connection, regardless, and that person has most assuridly changed your life...if both are mature, and allowing, they realize things were not meant to be, and for reasons maybe beyond our understanding, it is time for both to move on...and if you really really love, and were in love, and care for that person...then you will allow them and let go. Just my thoughts hun....God bless and have a wonderful weekend. Hugs |

Afterthoughts-- I realise this isn't a regular discussion forum and ordinarily wouldn't post a sort of reply to a reply, but the poet HAS a strong point within his poem and I'd like to further my comment -- likewise, Lee has made a sensible point, as well. Sadly there ARE "losses" in love. When ONE loves and loves and LOVES another who seems incabable of receiving it and equally incapable of returning it. The loving one, in a sense, does "lose" -- it's a sort of "losing out," because true love is a reciprocal union, a bonding where both give and receive on a somewhat equal basis. THAT is when the lesson is learned. The loving one, after the split, has learned much. Enough to attempt to not repeat the same type of relationship and to be more alert and wary. These types of relationships seldom wind up on a friendly basis. Once they end, they ARE OVER! As stated, this SADLY plays a big part in relationships everywhere, but -- LESSONS can and do change the NEXT time around. 'Tiz feathers that make the bird - |
