You'd never lose me to another man Loving you forever is my life's plan No need to fret, my glance won't stray Commitment's made - that's not my way Some other voice won't make me yearn Another's touch won't blaze and burn The soul of me lies at your feet Only with you am I complete But go I will, for so I must Though dreams be ground up into dust If all your hopes and every thought Through wake or sleep, another's sought I ask not much but humbly plead Spare not the love I do so need But if your heart hasn't some room For me, then I accept my doom You'll never lose me, but you must know You have the power to make me go. |
