Barbed I used it to sift through the rubble of my life, those harsh words caught on the barbed edges torn from the pressures imposed by the drink years. The soft memories escape now through the smallness of what you have become to me. Each like a grain of sand, filtered out the meaning strained and scattered then left behind, trampled upon, until even the coarseness cannot be owned. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

M, You always amaze me. So much accomplished in the two years I've been here. I am truly impressed everytime. ![]() If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

The sifting screens some close some wide can separate silk-like fines to slip a touch and course grains to massage in depth and yet the blend the blend you are only in the blend. |

almost missed this one.... like the approach and the thoughts..the metaphor presented concisely and an effective mix with the title... you did good!!! Very good! so many good offerings to my silly challenge.... each I open and read an amazing take on a simple idea that is blended into the writers own life experience or interpretation... I certainly enjoyed your take on this... thank you |
