Harvest Moon

I stand in awe at midnight
gazing at the Harvest Moon
smiling with a soaring heart
sharing this sight with you

I feel your vital spirit
whisper over my skin
as stirring shadows of light
reflect your love to me

I sense the moon's pulsing beat
in tune with heartfelt thoughts
gathering precious feelings
to transmit yearning love

I once again make a wish
then throw a kiss up high
knowing you did like wise
under this moon tonight
