where the wild flowers grow

0 posted 2003-09-11 12:12 PM

I sink into a large dew
drop.
A honey-suckle
sweet moon
shadow.

I
close my eyes to
welcome the
liquid sunshine.

I'm no longer burdened
by the
fear
of having
nothing else to write.

Here,
I drown myself in
the sky.
My signiture in
the clouds.

My hymn
written in the fog.

I will be remembered
for only this
piece..
This small
scratch on what is me..

So small, I am
compared to this little
portion
of outer-space..

I can't tell where
I end,
or where I begin.

And how in this state of mine
I finally wish I could cry,
out of pure wanting..
Out of seeing something I could hardly
withstand..

Not
for heartache
nor the inability
to express
how this water feels
as a
cave around me..

For the understanding
that dawns upon me...
how lucky
I'd still be
without
a daydream.

What a thought, drowning yourself in the sky - beautiful poem, daydreaming while staring at the heavens ..

A beautiful daydream so wonderfully penned.

You won't ever run out of things to write about, Megh,
'cause you are those things which you write about.

Warmly touching.
