** back ground **

Today after work, I bought a single rose for my girl, and wrote a jiffy little poem on the card.I went to place the rose and card on her car, so when she returned from her nite class (chem lab), she would notice it and be ecstatic.Well, her class let out an hour and 1o mins early, and she ran up right when i was completing the card. So the 'surprise' wasnt there.....

Later on, we talked about how we TRULY felt, and the 'future' was brought up........

so tonite, i wrote this....

this didnt work the first time,
so let me take it back a step or three..
I know youre curious
so let me tlell you of the future i see..

a sharply guided male,
with a girl of the same angle..
they build a life together,
in which nobody could mangle..

their two incomes,
run to three different accounts..
they made one for their child,
so its future holds no doubts..

petty fights and silly arguments,
teach instead of burn holes..
one family is forged securely,
by two of the strongest souls..

lifes road leads thru gravel
yet they sense the end's pavement..
their love becomes so wild,
that no force could tame it..

Seeing another generation succeed,
they finsh life knowing they won..
when looking back they realizes,
it all started with a nite of fun..

when their clock stops ticking,
side by side they are lain..
forever cuddling his body,
as if nothing had changed..

that last set, i shedda few tears...... i hope she feels that strongly too..
