I could never imagine
life without you
once you had arrived

and I let you stay

The taste of you
I had
was enough

for me
to say
we could work it out

whilst you
perhaps never
believed the promises you made
and the ones
you didn't

why say it
when you don't
mean it

I never asked
for the things you said

I never clung

but thrived

just
knowing

this time

it was different

and it was

but you
it seems
were just the same.....

Now you have left
I can never imagine
someone
could care for you
as much as I still do

It's not impossible
I know

then..
who you have
surrounded yourself with
care only
for good times
foolish moves

and
themselves

Instant karma's gonna get you.

Oh how hard it is to believe someone cares, and find out later that it is only us wishing for their love. This is so true, so sad, and you've put it into words so well...~S~
