Sleep wavered, bubbling thoughts
limbs sunk delicious soft
into clean sheets and midnight

Somehow
in such meditative state
you still snapped me out

Bones hardened, shallow breath became
tight
for the first time

heart solid

If human, it would seem,
mind tapped heart gently on shoulder
and awoke it from dream

It won't wait in fairytale scenario
a moment longer
excuses, apologies, explanations

I no longer wish for.

Instant karma's gonna get you.
