Chapter 11~

Since that day
Numerous things have happened

We have kept in touch
I pretend that I don’t love you
And you pretend you are happy

A part of me still feels
Like we were meant to be
And part of me is glad we aren’t

You have no trouble now
Telling me you love me
Guess I am supposed to be ok with that

For whatever reason
I can’t tell you not to call
Even though I see someone else

I can’t stop aching for you
Every time I hear your voice
I can’t stop wanting you

I am sure I will love you
Forever
But I understand what isn’t going
To be

I have moved on
In body
And mind
Just not in heart

And the absolution
I hoped for with these writings
I still wait for

Sue~Yes...It is hard (I give up on pretending it isn't my story) and I still talk to him...as a matter of fact I am seeing him today...we are friends now.  At least I pretend that is how it is...someday it won't hurt so bad...

Gemma~LOL I love that crying smiley!  Thank you, it has been good for me to write it all out...He knows I wrote them and wants to see them...not sure about that...

Absolution.... perhaps it is a bit like disolving a solid in a liquid..we are stired..and in the movement of molecules we find the solid parts absorbed into the liquid parts of us and diffused throughout..always to be there and remembered when some part of it settles out later...

very nicely told Susan.. the series is one to keep.

~ Susan, I hope your entire self, all 3 parts, will eventually be able to move on in unison, otherwise, you will always have a hole where your heart should be. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe sometimes the absolution is just in knowing the futility? I shall miss these chapters, and hope you will consider another sequel like this someday!! It was wonderful to get to know you through your Chapters!! ~S~
