With my darkling

Sometimes the right thing
for the children is to leave
and cut your losses

Sometimes they can feel
the poison all around them
holding on won't cure

The fighting hurts like
hammers, never doubt yourself
fixing things is pain

Pure things do await
the soul that acts so selfless
see it in their smiles

Jason, you know, I struggled with these very thoughts for a very long time.
Hard choices, hardest i ever had to make in my life and still am. But, my son, is so so happy . . . and that is what makes all the difference in the world.
God, you have been in my head as of late.
