Naples yellow alongside ochre,
earthy siennas grounding me
under Prussian blue skies.
I hear your heartbeat
whenever I see
brilliant yellow sunflowers
or the greenest cedar tree.

Oh, but if only for one moment
I could have been blessed,
to sit quietly by your side,
permitted to watch those brushstrokes
as you boldly painted life itself
upon the canvas that was your heart.

My own feeble attempts can never capture
the purest essence of light and texture
that bled from your soulful heart and eyes
onto the white blank canvas.
Your‘shorthand’ interpretations of nature,
your unique visions of the whole of life
stand as true and pure today
as they did so long ago, Vincent.

Forever your art shall be
a testament to your humanity.
You left us as you had lived,
in an overwhelming flood of passion.
And you shall always be my favorite
artist of humanity.

I can't paint.
You make me wish
I could.

Knew it!  His sunflowers were in my head right off the gate!  Beautiful, and Kacy it appears that art is truly an inspiration to you.  Keep this coming and we will be reading in awe.

(smiles) Oh Kacy, his sunflower paintings have long been my favorites along with "Starry Night". I have long been fascinated with sunflowers because they truly have so much hue, so much texture, so much gorgeous mystery to them. Above it all, his paintings of them have so much determination, just like he said in that letter "You may know that the peony is Jeannin's, the hollyhock belongs to Quost, but the sunflower is mine in a way." (big hugggsssssss) I only wish I could say that about the daffodils, though again I wish for everyone to share the gems of Mother Nature's womnb! God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Thank you Crystal, for your reply.

Noah, I shall think of you when I see the daffodils next spring. Yes, the sunflower IS Vincent.
