There's an angel on my shoulder,
She's been there twenty years.
She's joined me in my laughter,
She's wiped away my tears.

She loves me and protects me,
Shines her Light upon my Path,
And those who dared to hurt me,
Have felt her righteous wrath.

This angel is my Dearest Friend,
Her name means, "Of the Light",
Ilona, you're a blessing,
And yes!--You're always right!

Linda, this is a remarkable and glowing poem. I have read it several times and am drawn to your angel!
