Framed in onxy,
the moon cannot restrain its love.

Aglow between black branches
it glitters the sea,

with a million eyes upon it
it stays a solitary moon.

Approaching silver,
the blushing bride
cannot hold back,

Scarlet fever strays beneath
the dress of ancient white.

With eyes upon her,
she mops her tainted pedestal,

for now,
the solitary martyr.

Deep, dark and visually interesting all at the same time; interesting use of the words "tainted" and "martyr" in the same sentence...

Impressive poetry!
You share a sense of beauty combined with solitude that hurts.
Love and hugs. Margherita

Being a martyr aint so bad....sometimes. Unless they burn you on a cross, then you become a saint!
