Shattering before me, into fragments, patterns strange
Stripped of color, and all cover, shimmering in thorough change
I may see it as uncertain, but through findings, the reverse
Somewhat jagged the intention neither blessing, nor a curse

Choices plenty by the feeling resurrected from dismay
If by toss into the loss, might there be a brighter day?
Pulling into clouds as blankets, jumping up and down until
Finally skyward reconstruction building by a loving will

Softly falling, gently earthbound, my conviction to be seen
Choosing only what is solely of the best I’ve come or been
Sculpting better consequences, making sense an equal part
And to see a life I’ve chosen, more of me to live by heart

Gallant horses take the shaping of the chariot I construct
Down and velvet line the pockets of the words pronounced and tucked
The relations of my body and my soul remain in twin
A gift truly given to me that I own and hold within

Smiles for sharing, appreciation for the world in which I live
Keeping current disposition in the taking that I give
A reminder of the human, to accept an empty cup
Walking often to the clear well, dipping deep and filling up

Better able to be stable in the messages that trade
From my heart into your keeping by the open hearth I’ve made
And a garden, ever blooming to sit quietly and stir
Dreams I share without illusion, loved with honor to be sure

And I see the glass is falling from the heavens to be found
Taking shape in the reflection of the worth of joy unbound
Breaking molds that never served me, making new a work of art
In your presence to be truly all the love that fills my heart

No doubt in my mind that you had a sharp
pencil and a hot muse before you decided to
sit down and write this one....

Very well done K.  your rhyme and flow is
virtually impeccable....flawless.

Your writing is an endless flow Kathleen.

This is a beauty,
like all your poems that have come before.
