What If's.. Sometime in January A friend told me they saw you With her I thought nothing of it Just a friend Yet in my heart I knew Makes me wonder About the two times You asked me what We were doing Would it have made a difference Had I said anything other than “just having a good time” I hate myself for that lie I wonder if I let you see how I felt Too late Did I have a chance in the beginning? Somehow I think not But I like to torture myself |

M~I think we torture ourselves as punishment for what we either did wrong or what we perceive we have done wrong. Why? Because if it's something we did then we still have the control to make it better...torture.  Susan |
