And as if once again, to the Poem I return

And as if once again,
to the poem I return
Then why whenever I wrote to you specifically
I felt I would let these fingers
penetrate all the raved skies
And that I would threaten history to vanish
And that I would return the equator
to its orbit after it had gone astray
And that I would confer on beauty the wings of creed
And that I am Iyad, the Son of the Poem

And why does massive longing invade me
when I remember your hairstyle
And whenever I remember your lips
And your delicious figure
And its flashing warmth to the limit of thawing me
And your long nails longing to scratch me
And your ornate nose
And your teeth lined a novel crescent
Emerging from the beginning of the month,
neither setting nor falling asleep

And your foot that I loved a lot
And this jasmine armpit that had accepted me
a political refugee and accommodated me within its folds
And your voice;
This fact that arrives and my territories it ignites
one after another

And the time it comes feeling asleep
It throws me right next to you
and accommodates me in your land
Then,
Can I find an explanation for all of that?

Don’t speak
It suffices that I perceive the yearns raining from your eyes
And to walk beneath it without a protective umbrella

So wet me to walk beneath it
And wet me to run beneath it
And wet me to compose your name and serenade

And maybe they would mark me
"The stooge son of the poem’s history"
And perhaps this would make me rejoice
Since no one is happier than the stooges on this Earth

You have all the “I” and what lies between its folds
as I once again,
to the Poem I return

Me

Thanks wrapped in "Pineapples."
