The unspeakable and horrible acts
he committed

And then...

My thoughts turn
to the present
and to YOU

Of how you love me with
a love like I have never
known before
A love that is so genuine and true
So steadfast and faithful
Unconditional Love

And I think of how blessed
I am to have YOU
to love me and
for me to love you
My Love

Then
I am so
Thankful
for us
for
You and me
together

Deeply moving write!
Sadly and too often, one must experience the pain of loving without return and the abuse from the one loved, before genuine love finally appears and can truly be appreciated.

True love shared and offered unconditionally by both partners, is a blessed reward for having endured previous heartache from one apparently incapable of giving and receiving love in any sense of the word.

That blessed reward is well worth all past experience! Thanks for sharing your blessing!
