I Question Lessons

who taught
the birds
to sing
and how
did the ocean
know
to ride
the waves
of salty tears
why does
the sun always
tire too soon
making shadows melt
into black velvet
where folds
get scratched
by star nails
hanging on
my questions
of when
the impossible
will learn
to become
the possible

"I am living a life, i have no wish to live. How did this happen?" Unknown

Ya know, Helen
your making me think too much lately
but this, goodness
One day it does become possible,
as you know . . .
it is the in-between that
the questions start popping up
and this write?
sliding off the screen . . .

Pictures!

Your pictures so utterly clear and original here....I'm completely taken by the way you see things, so unique.... the sun tiring...scratched by star nails....gotta love it!

Helen - this is just awesome - powerful poetry asking a powerful question - indeed I shall ponder it for a while I know - Paul
