Shall I write then, of sky the moon and the stars Or, the cooling breezes that bother August draperies Or perhaps, of the woman that stands in that window lit, by the nightwash and washed in the wafting Her troubled brown eyes shine past the curtains the window, the yard and the houses beyond Far past her city and the hills to the south to a thin ribbon of river that flows by a man Who dreams of brown eyes "In looking Northward, I see a light" |

Ed, Usually when I enter a forum and I see your name and a poem next to it, I read it. And everytime it makes me go "Wow, that was good." You definitely have a talent with poetry. -Craig a trickle of music from a well |

By that river flowing fueled by thought stands a man wild staring eyes green as the August growth underbrush speaking dreams of past, present and future The August breeze of the city wafting for a second grasping every nerve ending reminiscient of tales dreamt and spoken delivered by eyes which shine brown to green to brown a chameleon staring in that distant city by the lake [This message has been edited by littlewing (09-02-2003 10:15 PM).] |
