If I could fit a sunset In the palm of my hand I’d give it as a gift to you So my love you’d understand. If I could place a rainbow Inside of your bedroom I would watch you with a smile As it drove away your gloom. If I could take of the sky And sprinkle your life with blue, I would not spare anything To bring such wonder to you. But I can’t do these for you— So come and take my hand, There’s so much beauty around us We must learn to understand, Though I can’t give you sunsets, Or create for you rainbows, Come and take a walk with me— God has given us all those!
