Far away I felt the echo of your cry so very faint like the first drops of rain on upturned face. Far away I felt the echo of your cry and wondered once again if you remembered, if you remembered what we once were. Far away I felt the echo of your cry like butterfly wings beating against the closed door of my heart. Far away I felt the echo of your cry and tears I didn't know existed anymore streamed down my face. I felt you cry on that faraway echo echo's cry. |
