Slow motion strides With a purpose, Their heads turning in unison Searching, stalking prey Onlookers can’t turn away This pair, like a movie Too beautiful yet something Hypnotically defiant Bending, using time A dimension all their own In ours almost dreamlike The flip side of life A promise of more Fear drawing us in Desiring immortality Commercials sell it The appeal is real Defying death At any cost |

A very interesting write, Connie. It is sometimes hard to look away, even when we claim to have NO interest in the scene in front of us. |
