My Love
The seasons grow to their end
And melons will no longer
Be the sweet fruit to pick at will
From low vines that hug
Big leafs to stem
And hide
As if modesty prevented
An easy reveal
The swell and curve
So treasured

We will feast soon
On cloudy days
That bring cool nights
To leave us desiring another robe
As we lay
Facing Luna’s light

This season of heat passing
As have the times we lay
Teasing the passions

Come
There are still days to enjoy
And I would offer you the last of Summer
The first of Fall
For your pleasures.
That we might find ourselves
Once more
Exposed
as
Your blush
Becomes the sunset
And I the land
You color

Ron

Your paint of the seasons and the wealth of this couple's time together is so well done!

I miss you when you're not around...good to see you!

This one was hiding...but I found it..

What can I say that I haven't already said?
When you write you write in color, as Monet did painting...

I loved it all and love how you can say something and leave it to the reader to decide which way to go with it...

KEEPER! Thank-you so much for this. I think it is wonderful. Summer's last hurrah...Fall's quiet acceptance. This is truly my favorite time of the year. Once again...thank-you!
