I have always heard you, My Love My hand has never left yours. It has always been there. The heat and the softness of your kiss is Permanently embossed onto my lips, Whispering promises of a passion that knows no bounds. Our dance, though not together, continues. I know that it seems as though I have been silent. Yes, I have allowed certain things to creep into my sight. But, I have never ignored you, or not heard you. I know who you are, and what you are. And, I have never forgotten that. The things that you say we used to be, we still are. I still feel you in my arms each night, And I still feel you in my heart each morning. My being longs for you with such passion That I fear I will be consumed by it. I have never left your side, or your heart. I have always been here, beside you, with you, In your heart and in your spirit. I promised to love you unconditionally, And, though it has been hard, I have. I have accepted you for who and what you are, And I have never lost sight of what we are. No, I have never lost sight of what we are, Or what we were, Or of what we will be. We are friends, We are lovers, We are Sunshine and Moonlight. Two equal parts of the same whole. Shining through the storms and skies of not only our lives, But also the lives around us. Showing them that above all things, Love survives. That love will last, no matter the time, or the storm. Yes, I know that these are only words, And that words fade. But, these are all that I have right now. These words, and this heart. A heart that has always belonged to you alone. A heart that longs for the soft silence of your gaze, The gentle feel of your hand, And the always welcoming home of your arms. You are where I belong. And, I will be there, no matter the storms, No matter the way. For you are mine, body and soul, you are mine. And I, I am yours, as long as Moons will glow and Suns will shine. I am yours. Peace is the only battle worth waging. |

The things that you say we used to be, we still are. I still feel you in my arms each night, And I still feel you in my heart each morning. My being longs for you with such passion That I fear I will be consumed by it. I think true love cannot exist without the other half, nor desires another, for another cannot fill that gap...love cannot jump from one relationship to another.... Once I loved someone so very deeply for years...and although tried...could not date another, there was no one like him...and it was sad...until I found out all that time he had another...and that my friend...put to sleep all my feelings for him...they turned to dust...for I knew...that true love desires not and cannot function with an other person...there is simply no attraction, no desire...no fulfillment...but...in the same, this this great love can be destroyed sometime with one action, one word of deceipt, misunderstanding or lies... Boy you have certainly inspired my muse today... and you have a treasure in your arms...please treat it with the utmost respect and care as you would wish for yourself. Love and hugs to you |
