Silent Night

When I was a young boy
I watched a shooting star.
As it traveled through a silent
night I watched it from afar.
To my eyes it was simply
beautiful to behold.
Still I yearned to touch it,
its beauty to unfold.

Tonight, as I
look upon her face,
I feel like a young boy
staring beauty in the face,
a young boy yearning to see
her beauty unfolding in
silky layers of grace.

a lovely weave of the feelings of love
oh to simply gaze upon the face of that one, that special most significant part of my self
to whom the Gods gave a mysterious song called attraction....

Lovely poem my friend

lovely  JamesM...I am not sure why new love at a later stage in life makes one feel like a teenager...but it is a wonderful feeling, even if fleeting.

I love that image.
