As I float endlessly through this world Starting out as a little girl Growing more and more each day Realizing the wonders that come my way Taking the time to smell the flowers Realizing that yes, I have the power To make any of my dreams come true To do what is in my heart to do Maturing from a child to a lady Nurturing inside, what used to be a baby I know I control my own destiny I'm the only person who can set myself free I present myself to this world There now is a woman where there used to be a girl So know that I am here on this earth And have been destined for greatness upon my birth It could be for something loud and proud Or it could be for something of a whisper sound So, I intend to do something with my life And be a wonderful friend,mother, and wife Crystal |
