Stars in the sky, sunshine in the air. No doubt about it. Life is fair. Eyes of glory, watch them shine, I am his, he is mine. Suddenly he changes the day from gloomy to bright. That's how the days are together and through the night. He seems to take all the worries away. With the smile on his face that brightens my day. Pure sunshine in my eyes I see. The sparkle in his eyes, knowing he's thinking of me. Moments of laughter, glances of comfort. No more pain, lies or terrible hurt. For the kindness in his lovely heart Knowing someday, we might depart When with him, the voice I hear. Deep in heart, he'll always be near. |
