A ray of light in the darkness of solitude
A beam of sunshine breaking through the clouds
The light of hope pouring out of the heavens
Is this just a dream, to my weary eyes

The fears of loneliness lasting forever
The hope of someone to be by my side
The pain of heartache from past times not working
Should I take in the sun or let it pass by

Not wanting to be afraid, but afraid is what I am
Not knowing how to act, but acting as I am
Not knowing what to say, but saying what I feel
Not wanting to get hurt, but hurting to be held

This seems to good, can it be this true
Are you really all you say, or am I just fooled
Wanting to fall, in arms that will hold
But scared ill just, fall flat on the floor

Its time to take my chance
To step in the sun
To soak in the light
The darkness is done

(big hugggssssssss) Oh, dearest friend, I can understand all the suspicion many possess nowadays, sweet friend, after all too many try to be someone else and there is a right to suspect that, but I guess the advice is sometimes you just have to bravely go with the flow or you will never distinguis the shades!
