Yep, it's all been said before. That about sums it up! I think one can get tired of trying to be heard, and the other can get tired of feeling they already have heard it before. Never quite meeting in the middle anywhere. Comes a point there's no getting through. I'm getting a headache from beating my head against the wall is words that come to mind. *Ouch.*

Maureen, I really don't know what to say, because I don't know what this concerns. From the replies and your responses, I'm afraid that I may say something and you may have meant it to mean something completely different. I feel that there is something underneath the words, but I honestly don't know exactly what. I could feel hurt in these few words, though. I sincerely hope that you will feel better.
