The riveting of armor melts away To soften calloused hands, and hardened hearts of clay Not too sure of always or never, not too clear yet bound together As the approach became the last unlatching key Another level is unclothed, another kiss instinctively And we become the all-consuming fire The captor and the prisoner of all desire How well we have become, exchanged in language of full sum As difficult as any climb, our own revival stopping time Holding out, and holding on…between the sheets of pages gone For as you push and pull away, this much is savored in each sway The touch inside that calls your name, to give and get of all the same And we become this intimate, a level down and deeper fit Again to quiver in such thirst, my body hears and speaks you first Inaudible the trade perhaps, of lust and linger, finger snaps A willingness in high regard, to curve the seas of soft and hard And hold you close inside myself, of every dream unmeasured wealth While this conviction given all, our purest selves in turn free fall Copyright Kkh 8/25/03 |

now if only I could write like that! But then, I can't rhyme two words on the same page, leastwise as often as you do... Enjoyed this much, my friend. jwesley. |

Kathleen, I have no idea how many times I've told you before, but I simply love the way you write!!!! I don't know about the correct meter, but you must do it perfectly, my friend. I do know that your rhyme is absolutley marvelous. I just wish that I could write half as good as you do. ![]() Hugs to you, Ethel |
