Love and Failure

Love...
What about it?
Sometimes it works.
Sometimes it fails.
Depending on the
way it goes we
have happy or sad
stories to tell.

Wonder why we're
so quick to blame
it on love
when we fail?

I think it's just human nature to need to blame someone for our failures, and love is a handy excuse, eh?  I certainly will do some thinking about that question...thank you James...~S~

Why do we blame it on love when we fail?
Hmmm, quite possible a ten-million dollar question James.

Insightful write m'friend!

it seems we always look for blame... when sometimes the answer is within ourselves...
Nice write here..

The answer is a mystery to me but when it works it is magic.

Thought provoking write here, 5 year limit man, still munching on donuts? *wink*

The answer is obvious because one love is still love and no matter how you put it part of your heart has been changed so it kinda transfers to the next person with good reason, love is worth hanging on to not so easily swayed, and it does hurt when one just flings one emotions around.
Very excellent write. take care Rose

if you love someone my friend...how could it fail...that love travels with you for the rest of your days...and even if love goes south sometimes...two mature adults can walk away from each other with a handshake and respect for one another...as long as the two do not react out of bitterness and anger, but much more realize the precious moments and the happiness you've shared at one time...remembering, we all have our paths in life, our goals...and perhaps a lifetime committment was not meant for the two who have walked away from each other...besides, one never knows what the next moment in our lives bring...and regardless of the hard times...if we're really honest with ourselves...we've been complimented even by the hardest of times...if two cannot stay together when things get a little rough/change...then perhaps nothing was lost at all, but more so gained????

Thank you for sharing such a good poem
