{Joint post between Cpat Hair & Tiers}

You saw
Falling leaves in
gentle cascade of
inevitability

A gradual fading
into grey hanging
damply over already
chilled shoulders

I saw
Budding possibilities
Patiently awaiting
transformation into
Exotic bloom
given time and tended

Perhaps you do not see
blossoms wilt and turn to seed
but see them wither
caring not to stay
or pluck them harshly
when beauty fades

I wonder do you reap
those words you sow
or have you ignored too long
the beauty of change
the time it takes

to grow

These fields,
Cultivated long ago
And watered sparingly
with Tiers still beg
deluge of mouth over
mouth to feed the drought

Nourish me

Season have not changed
Only our own weather
worn perspectives...

~The Captain & Tiersdin

Thank you, Ron!

This is an awesome duet, both of you should take a bow, for together you've created a masterpiece. Thanks for sharing this here with us.

Sometimes we have to follow a stronger voice, even if it's silent.

Good God, what a palette placed before me
Ron and Tier - this is beautiful
I adore the wordplay there and it reminded me of the cycle of life and the seasons:

These fields,
Cultivated long ago
And watered sparingly
with Tiers still beg
deluge of mouth over
mouth to feed the drought

Nourish me

Season have not changed
Only our own weather
worn perspectives...

absolutely stunning the both of you
*bow now gracefully*

Hiya Tier, Hiya Ron

I missed this, but am happy that someone dug it up for me.

I've never written with Mr.Hair, but have duetted with Tier, so I can imagine how this went.

And it reads as I would expect. Lovely

Where have you been?

Loving this...especially the part about when beauty fades.
