Just a verse from a song i am working on... My intentions are to break free of these chains Disgraced to my family so i cannot speak their names Yet even though we one and the same Torn by lyrics which combust as i accept the blame Pain inscribed in my soul makes reality drift To a place not underhanded to fix this rift Imagine dying for a purpose i did not choose Somewhere inside adolescence my spirt came to abuse The soul feeds my eyes with what i hope to see Feeling close to the Devil, screaming only God can judge me Will i make it to the afterlife or be reincarnated Hopefully i can then die for something i previously demonstrated Incarcerated in my own mind an enemy of myself Living life without focuss whilst evading wealth Scriptures denying the path to a higher trust Rather die than witness my whole nation combust I guess you think you know who i am 'cause i live like this Yet not taking the time to question whether ignorance is bliss As each morning arrives with the hope of just being me Im still living blind and wondering when will i get free? |

we cannot control what the world has to give all we can do is try to live the best we can in our every day and live with our hearts, in every way For that is within you, you just haven't found the way for it surface, let time be your guide Hold on to yourself for you are unique and life my dear, will seem so less blique.. This is from me to you.. and i think you wrote a wonderful poem... i just wish i could help you heal.. minoune *we are who we are... not who someone wants us to be* |
