Fly upon imaginary wings

Fly upon imaginary wings
letting in all the good things
life has to offer

Soar way up high
try to touch the sky
flying on imaginary wings

Put a smile on your face
take a chance
take a risk

Fly upon imaginary wings
keep love in your heart
and a twinkle in your eye

The day will seem brighter
if you start by smiling
As you fly upon imaginary wings

A caring person
a loving touch
sweet words whispered
can mean so much.

So as you soar upon imaginary wings
let your heart be your guide
let people see the beauty inside.

I came to this poem because at dawn I had a dream of flying to someone I love, and tried to stay in it for as long as sleep would hold even a little bit....

And I stayed because the message of this is so much more -- and one I'm going to walk around with all day long.
