All my life I followed my heart,
Anywhere it could lead.
Sparing strangers and monsters
As I heard them beg and plead.
My heart led me to Heaven,
Angels singing their song,
But when I didn't find you there
I didn't stay too long.
I then followed my heart,
This time things were dark.
Fir and brimstone couldn't hold me
As I carved my mark.
Still I couldn't find you,
My perfect angel of love.
Still no sign of my angel,
Sent to me from above.
So I took my journey
Back to this earthly plain,
Battlescars deep in my soul
Became a hidden pain.
Then I felt a warm glow,
I felt some healing light.
And as I looked to the darkened sky,
I saw my angel that night.
How could one so beautiful,
One so kind and sweet,
Fall for me, a warrior,
Born of darkness and heat?
How did this angel
Fall for one so dark?
Could it be that love's a knight,
and he's just carved his own mark?

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

I know it's not really a word to describe a warrior... but this is beautiful. I really love it.
