The sway of the train, lulling the senses,
boredom from the five o-clock ride to suburbia.
Looking innocently around, observing the
other passengers....until....

Until I saw those legs, smooth as silk, climbing
skyward into the clouds of many thoughts...
Could she possibly notice my gaze?  Or....
Am I free to gently caress this beauty, unnoticed.

My heart, pounding slightly faster at the thought
of the game, the game of which glance is quickest,
whose gaze will turn away first.....who will win?

The minutes, passing quickly as the continued
gentle sway lulls some to doze, others to join
the quest against the bore of daily toil and the
trudge and trek home.

Glancing left, noticing that I am far from alone,
a wry smile upon a lovely face, sharing the
moment of the game.  Smiling back,   I turn
and return my gaze to her.....Only to find
she has moved.

“Hi”....  legs say to me, “ like your threads,
oh.....  your glasses.....  they are a little
fogged....”
