She stands
solitaire
flawless size seven
a minute reflection
of me, I see
the sun, glinting
off of a wave

Far, far away . . .

another time and place

Melded gold
two lives unfold
when I fight
the need
for sleep
she is there
for me

Keeper of my dreams . . .

Sue- one of these days, you are going to have to give me writing lessons.
Another great job.

Thank you Nancy - always nice to see you smiling at me

Kris?  Please be careful when reaching in while you grab that pen, OK? Thank you

Kahlil - thank you - what a compliment!

Liz, it never ends . . . the learning  thank you

Bill - you are so sweet! God, thank you so much

Meg, thank you and thank you for this challenge . . . sparked me to write of something I truly hold dear to my heart

Brad, guitar lessons?  fair trade?

Thanks guys

(smiles) Yay! Oh Sue, this is just beautiful, sweet friend, the light is where I found clarity, and I guess why I call myself Mistletoe Angel is because I believe Christmas should be celebrated everyday as it is both a beautiful spiritual day to celebrate God and Jesus and the love of one another, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Great job, Sue. Keep that imagination growing - we've had so many good poems from your pen!

LOL, I just went back and read your comment about the ring.
No, 10 isn't my ring size.

I cannot begin to search for a word which describes the heart of such a poetic soul, to be lost in this poem would be great, amazing!!

Thank you for writing this
