Suppressed Linen (megs challenge) framed on my wall hangs a linen cloth garden colors stitched by fingers of steel and silk a woman of my past gone but today here great great grandmother safely I honor you in this special place to remind me of who I am and where I can go with strings and blood that are strength that binds me on a spotless cloth I see the blood of tears suppressed of who you could have been if freed a southern past held back by manners and what is in a world of difference "I am living a life, i have no wish to live. How did this happen?" Unknown |
